Can Llanas is much more than just a building: it’s part of the industrial soul of Manlleu. Today, this emblematic site is home to Mimcord, but its history dates back over a century, when it housed one of the most important textile factories in the region.
The Museu del Ter has recently published a monographic study that traces the story of Can Llanas from its origins to the present day, highlighting its key role in the industrialisation of the Ter river area and its evolution into a space for innovation in the paper sector. A journey through the past that directly connects with our present.
At Mimcord, we feel privileged to be part of this legacy. We work toward sustainable innovation from a building that symbolises industrial transformation and our deep roots in the region.
