CHARACTERISTICS OF MIMCORD YARNS

MIMCORD paper yarns are made out of natural bio-products derived from cellulose obtained via Kraft methods, from conifers originating in plantations controlled by FSC® certified systems of responsible forest management, and/ or sustainable and controlled PEFC management.

The cellulose base allows for a wide range of coloured yarns, which are treated with aqueous-media sustainable dyes that are absolutely non-toxic.

Due to their natural origin, these bio-products are isothermal and antistatic, obtaining as a result of proper weaving, carpets, tatami mats and roll-up screens which are cool in the summer and warm in the winter, resulting into a highly welcomed product in any environment offering pleasant shading and comfortable flooring.

These yarns are also slightly alkaline and statically inactive, which allows for them to be used in any room without having to worry about dust mites.

Highly resistant to humidity, in the logical assumption of staining during usage, simply wash them with water and neutral soaps to restore their appearance.

A product which at the end of its use is fully recyclable and biodegradable.

Natural product. 100% Cellulose. Offered in white or kraft colours. Burns without excess smoke. Minimises residue.
